I call this the "eye bowl" =)
The iris of the eye is Tenomku glaze. I brushed this glaze on and was trying to get a thick enough layer to achieve the black color in Tenmoku glaze. Apparently I didn't make that thick enough.
The glossy brown around the iris is amber glaze over the black mountain clay.
Firing: Reduction high fire
