I was trying to recreate the results of Vase 18 with this mug. I used the same glaze combination, clay. and firing technique. However, the results here don't have the vibrant blue you see in Vase 18. It could be that there was a thinner layer of glaze on this mug. larger pieces tend to take on a thicker layer of glaze because it takes more time to dip the piece into the glaze.
