I recently made a cacti mug (mug 53) and really loved it. So, I decided to create more and added a growing moon on this one ^_^ . The moon has always been a symbol I feel very connected to.
The speckles resulting in the glaze here are due to large amounts of iron in the clay body reacting during the glaze firing. I love how it looks like stars in the night sky.
