We were making growlers for a workshop at Clay Arts Vegas and I tried my best to throw four pounds of clay. This was the most clay I had attempted to throw at that time and I had a lot of trouble centering it. My first couple of attempts failed during the workshop but I continued trying when I returned to Seattle. This was my successful attempt =)
Notice there seems to be a smaller circle of clay separate in the base. Somehow the way I was centering the clay made a radial air pocket in the clay.
