This was initially going to be a wine mug. When I was ready to trim this piece, I placed it on the wheel but accidentally touched the wheel puddle before securing down the piece. So, it went flying and hit the sharp edge of the wheel head. The piece warped and dented because it was in a leather hard state. I decided to turn it into a glaze test piece and used the back of a large paint brush to create these large dimples.
Adding a hole on the bottom of the piece also turned it into a planter =)
