This planter was the result of a design process when I was creating a custom pair of planters for a new order. They wanted a sun and moon themed pair. Many extras come out of a design process to account for potential breaks at each step or other "mistakes" such as glaze coming out not as expected.
They didn't want the drastic drippiness of the glaze you see here. After this test, I then dipped thinner layers of glaze and was able to create get the same color theme without the running drips.
What we appreciate is often relative to our expectations. Someone else later loved this one and bought it with their twin sister buying the extra sun planter pair =). I sold this planter with one of the extra moons plates I had also made in the design process.
