This thin plate is very delicate. I made a series of these to make a set of appetizer plates. When making a set of anything, it's useful to make many in case a few experience errors along the pottery process that make them not match the set. When I have extra that I didn't end up glazing, I often then use it to create glaze tests. The glaze combo here was something I did previously on a vase and really liked the effects. I wanted to see how the glaze would react together if they pooled into the plate rather than running down the side of a vase. More pink colors showed in this result compared to the vase.
