This little plate and plate 38 are made with the same glaze design. The only difference is the type of glaze firing they went through.
I've been able to trim plates super thin, but unfortunately it makes them difficult to glaze. The glaze won't catch on thick enough. So, I have to wait several hours in between re-glazing sessions. It becomes a messier endeavor and still some thin spots occurred. Although, I like the rust-look that shows up where the glaze is thin.
