This was another vase I created while exploring how far I could stretch coleman porcelain clay. Clearly, I stretched it to its limit because it began to sink on itself. Shapes like this create many places where glaze can catch. So, I chose to use Sandy's Green and Rutile Pink, both of which are very runny glazes. The burnt red color on the bottom of the vase means that it must have been placed on a shelf with red clay before it was fired.
Firing: Reduction high fire
Clay: Coleman Porcelain
