It may surprise you if I tell you that I used Sandy's green glaze in this piece because you don't see any green! That's because crossing rutile pink over sandy's green creates the coffee-brown color you see here. If it weren't for the under layer of butterscotch glaze, the coffee-brown would have been a dark burgundy.
